The one that decides it: an out-of-hours safety rota
A safety flag needs a named human inside sixty seconds, at any hour, every night of the year. That means a phone that is answered at 04:00 IST, a documented backup, and a rota you can actually sustain past the first enthusiastic month.
Most partners run two or three people on a weekly rotation. It is a light duty — expect a handful of calls a month, most of which turn out to be nothing — but it is a real one, and it is the only requirement on this run with no remediation path if it fails.

- Registered company, LLP or firm in India
- GST registration in force
- PAN, bank account able to receive foreign inward remittance
- Authority to sign a service agreement, NDA and information-security schedule
- No conflicting engagement with a competing mobility support platform
People
- One experienced team leader on ordinary Indian hours, clearing the review lane daily
- A named out-of-hours safety rota with a documented backup
- A full-time supervisor from agent 16 onward
- An owner or operations head on the weekly review call for the first 90 days
- Comfort with voice — riders and drivers call, and escalations arrive by phone
Infrastructure
- A stable broadband connection and one workstation for the supervisor
- A phone that is reachable overnight for the safety rota
- No floor, no seats, no dialler and no rota for the desk itself
- The VPS, board and international numbers are provisioned by Akontec
Working capital
- The setup fee, 60% on signature and 40% at go-live
- Two months of running cost in reserve while allocation ramps
- Your supervisor's cost through the ramp period
- Income arrives monthly in arrears, in USD converted on statement date — plan the first cycle and the FX exposure accordingly
Do not take this run if
- You cannot sustain the out-of-hours rota past month two
- You need a fixed monthly invoice regardless of volume
- You expect to bring your own mobility clients — allocation and the contract sit with Akontec
- You want the crew to handle safety autonomously, at any hour, for any reason
- You cannot carry FX movement between statement and settlement
- You need the setup back inside two months
