Eighteen days from signature to live traffic.
Five phases, each with named deliverables and a sign-off. Compare it against the fifty to seventy days a conventional 24/7 international campaign takes to reach full production — and note that no hiring appears anywhere in it.
Mobilisation
Akontec: service agreement, NDA and infosec schedule executed; desk, VPS and international numbers provisioned; delivery manager, technical owner and billing owner named. You: supervisor nominated, safety rota documented and tested, board roles confirmed, banking and GST submitted. Sign-off: desk live, numbers answering, rota call tested end to end.
Rulebook and local knowledge
Akontec: the operator's rulebook written into the spec with every rule traced to a source document; city geography, fare tables, driver register, ticket history and precedent indexed to your desk. You: nothing yet — this phase is ours. Sign-off: spec issued to you with open items listed rather than guessed.
Crew build and bench
Akontec: ten agents given roles, bound to tools, guardrailed, and run against replayed historical tickets from the operator you will serve; per-agent, per-ticket-type accuracy reported. You: supervisor completes board training and the handbook, including the safety handover drill. Sign-off: bench report shared, every agent clearing its threshold.
Shadow shift
Akontec: crew runs on live traffic sending nothing; disagreements fed back into rules and index daily. You: supervisor works the full review lane against real output, and takes every safety handover for real. Sign-off: your supervisor confirms they are comfortable releasing, and the safety drill has run at least once out of hours.
Staged release
Akontec: autonomy released one ticket type at a time, lowest risk first, each with a named decision on the board; volume throttled for the first week. You: clear the lane daily and raise anything that looks wrong. Sign-off: go-live declared; the 45-day allocation clock starts; 90-day supervised support begins.
What can delay it
An operator whose fare or cancellation policy is undocumented, missing ticket history, a safety rota that cannot be staffed, or a supervisor who has not been freed up. All four are visible in week one, and we will say so rather than let the date slip quietly.
What does not delay it
Hiring, seat build-out, dialler provisioning, night-shift recruitment, training batches, attrition backfill. None of it exists on this run.
After go-live
Weekly review call for 90 days with your named delivery manager, weekly QC sampling weighted to fare and safety, and the monthly scorecard and statement issued together.
Eighteen days, and no hiring in any of them.
Start with the ride-along. If the fit is right, mobilisation begins the week the agreement is signed.
